Remember a couple days ago when I told you that we have somehow inherited a couple of ducks in our backyard? We could not figure out why they kept coming back to our house every morning. Last night- I went somewhere where I never thought I would go. I spent a Saturday night at the Monster Truck Nationals! Originally- I thought that I would suck it up and go because the kids would go crazy for it. Big Trucks, Loud noise, Motorcross Stunt Bikes and Demolition Derby- a kids dream right? So we thought it was a fluke. We live in the Desert. And are nowhere near a lake. But it has been over a week now and I have a feeling we have some new pets- at least for a while.... What a fun yet exhausting day! both kids had a slumber party at my parents house last night- so Andre and I took full advantage and had a few cocktails and stayed up waaayyy too late. Thats right! This Girly Girl is going to the Monster Truck Nationals on March 26th at the University of Phoenix Stadium. The things I will do for my boy! This year has been a big year for our family!I finally found a church that I LOVE!I have joined the Boutique committee, gone on a Women's retreat with the church, got Baptized and Dedicated the kids!This is HUGE for me! I have always been a Christian, but never got involved in much at the church. Christmas Eve we all stayed up way too late. The boys playing pool in the man cave, and the girls talking in the kitchen. Christmas Eve was so much fun this year! Our Christmas Eve Tradition started the year I moved out on my own when I was 18. Although I was living on my own, (Just down the road, but still!)
