Self Tanning Queen….PERFECTION!! Fun Giveaway Also!(CLOSED)

Ok- I’ll admit it. I am a self tanning junkie! I have to be! I am a natural Redhead, that means the freckles, orange hair, and the lightest skin imaginable. AND the kicker- no matter how much time I spend in the sun- my skin never gets darker, only more freckles- ugh!!

So- over the years, I have tried almost every self tanner available. Some of them left me looking like a Oompa Loompa, some like a zebra, and some were actually decent, but the smell was horrible. Add to the fact that my husband is the one to help me with my back side- and he would gag at the smell! I always have to do my tanning at night- because there is no way I am going out in public smelling like that!!

In walks Antidote. Developed by Sinead Noreius, and Esthetician, their claim to fame is that they have found a way to eliminate the odor associated with other self taning cremes- called SMELL RIGHT.

When it arrived- I was excited to try it- but also very, very Skeptical.

To start- my kit came with the Antidote Application gloves, and a bottle of “Go Slough Yourself” to exfoliate before applying. I used the Exfoliator (which has a great citrus scent and can be used on the face too! I love it!)

Next- I watched the video on how to apply. Sinead (who by the way, is absolutely beautiful!) has tons of videos you can watch for tricks to apply perfectly on every part of your body! (I have done this hundreds of times before- but some of the techniques were new to me!! Really creative ways to apply to the hands and fingers!)

I used the gloves and was able to do my whole body. I called the hubby in to do my back anyway- just to see what he would say. He was so happy that I “didn’t reek”. The lotion has a tint to it- so it helps you see where you missed and where to blend it in better. I did it on a Tues night- then again on Thursday night because I liked it so much. To be honest- it is pretty dark and I like it better with just the one application. The color was a nice tan brown- but I am so used to super white- it was a little much for me. But for every other person in the world it would be perfect!!

I also noticed that it faded pretty evenly. That is another problem I always have- it looks great for about 2 days and then fades out to make you look like you have vitiligo. That did not happen with Antidote- it was very even and faded gradually.
